The actual word for bladder is "cyst".
Whenever you see "itis" it means "inflammation of"
Translation: Cystitis is (urinary)bladder inflammation.
When the bladder is inflamed (hot and tender), there is an infection.
There will be an urgency to pee... and a great stinging feeling after urination.
If your bladder is really inflamed, you may feel like you have to pee all the time.
The best cure is prevention.
